THE LUNCH BREAK
Lunch with colleagues in Guéliz: budget, food and booking
Start with the budget per person, the number of guests and when everyone needs to leave. Then choose your meal and tell the restaurant about any timing requirements when you book.

Set three simple details for your lunch break
Lunch with colleagues often starts with a string of messages: who is coming, where should we go, and what will it cost? Agree on three things first: the number of diners, a budget per person and when everyone needs to leave.
Then choose a convenient meeting point. In Guéliz, check the journey from your workplace and allow time for arrival, the meal and the return trip. Serving hours are not a promise of how quickly a meal will be served. If your break is short, ask the restaurant whether your timing is realistic given the day’s service.
Choose a budget everyone understands
State a budget per person and what it needs to cover: just a main, a complete meal, included drinks or extra orders. That avoids one colleague budgeting for a single dish while another expects a starter and dessert too.
At Pensée, weekday lunch offers two main-course selections at 99 and 150 MAD. The difference is the choice of main. Both include the same soup, salad and dessert buffet, plus house juices, tea and coffee. Other drinks ordered are charged separately.
Understand the lunch format before choosing a main
| Part of the meal | 99 MAD option | 150 MAD option |
|---|---|---|
| Main course | One main from the 99 MAD selection, served at your table. | One main from the 150 MAD selection, served at your table. |
| Buffet | Unlimited soups, salads and desserts. | The same unlimited buffet. |
| Included drinks | House juices, tea and coffee offered at the buffet. | The same drinks offered at the buffet. |
Your main is one chosen dish; the buffet is the unlimited part of the meal. Browse the main courses in both lunch selections before visiting so everyone can find something they like. Ask the team about allergies or dietary requirements rather than relying on a dish’s name alone.
Weekday lunch and weekend lunch are different
Pensée’s weekday lunch is served Monday to Friday, from noon to 4pm. Agree on a shared arrival time so the meal is not held up by staggered arrivals.
On Saturdays and Sundays, a different offer applies: the weekend brunch buffet runs from 1pm to 3:30pm. Check the date before planning a team lunch. If you prefer a specific dish outside the lunch offer, you can also browse the restaurant’s à la carte menu.
What to mention when booking
Prepare a simple request: “There will be [number] of us on [date] at [time]. We would like lunch and need to leave around [time].” Add any dietary requirements and ask the restaurant to confirm the points that matter to your group.
- The table: confirm the number of guests and report changes.
- Payment: if you need separate payments, an invoice or another arrangement, discuss it with the team beforehand.
- Getting here: share our address and directions with your colleagues. Pensée offers complimentary valet service.
